UltimateEdition Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 I'm trying to install KALYWAY LEOPARD 10.5.1 with a DVD+R and have an SSE3 compatible computer. About a quarter through installation a message says something like "INSTALLATION FAILED... Installation cannot continue. Some files could not be copied to the drive. SoulJa Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 OK I will add some info from my attempts, I tried with both iATKOS v1.0r, and LEO4All V3 i think. I both times about a quarter of the way through install I come up the an error Installation failed, could not right file to /mac/somthing I think, just a directory. By the way I am installing on a 8 gig thumb drive, and I am running on a dell inspiron 1420, with and intel core 2 duo 1.66 , and a gig of ram.
