DaveJustDave
I've tried every realtek driver that ships with Leo4all, I've tried ALC883AUdio.mpkg, I've tried ALC883-3LineOuts .. I've tried searching and apparently not a lot of folks seem to be running Leopard with this motherboard? It shows "No built-in audio" under about this mac, and when I open the sound panel in system preferences it tells me no audio devices found. Thanks very much in advance! arvexus
i have the same motherboard, try with the 888 and works.. no great basses if you are using headphones, but with a 5,1 logitech x540 sound great (only in stereo mode). You have the ethernet lan working stable? i have a kext but its for 10,4,8 and sometimes i have to shutdown the machine to get a working ip from dhcp of my router. Ok, if u have kext or other setups for this motherboard please contact me! adio@adinet.com.uy Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/110422-gigabyte-ga-m57sli-s4-alc883-audio-problems/#findComment-842630 Share on other sites
