anonymous86
Electronista reports that ATI/AMD has released a Radeon HD 3870 for Mac and PC as a Combo-card, meaning it does not require flashing or the like to run on either a Mac or PC. While this is great news for Mac Pro users, it is also great news for the OSX86 community. Being able to buy a graphics card knowing it will work is nice for sure, and other card vendors wil surely follow suit. Synaesthesia
Interesting because the 8800GT worked only on the new Mac Pro's, not the old ones, but this card will work on all of them, and PC's too...nice...
