vcarriere
Hi, I've recently switched from 10.5.1 to 10.5.3 with kalyway combo update. I'm on a P5W-DH motherboard with a x1950 Pro (0x7280). I had trouble with the videocard so i installed Bronya's driver and managed to get it working. After that i got the sound working with AppleHDA patcher (1.20). The first part of my problem is that before the update i had the AHCI setting set in my BIOS for the drive i'm using. But after the update, it became awfully slow. It took about 20 min to get to the login screen and there was no way for it to work that way. I then switched to IDE settings for the sata controller and now its working. The second part of my problem is that since the update, when i plug in my iPhone, there always seems to be a problem. Either it gets stucked in a part of the syncing process or it works till the next sync (it either complete without problem or stays stuck on a part of the syncing indefinetly). Could it be caused by the iphone? I looked at the console and from what i could see (New to mac) there was either a problem with the usb controller or with the applemobile device and things gets dropped (I don't really remember since i'm at work). Anyway, if anyone has any suggestion, i'll be glad to test them out. Thanks for the help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/110195-itunes-sync-problem-ahci-awfully-slow-only-bugs-left/ Share on other sites
