madmatrixz3000
So I have an old (P4) laptop (toshiba Satelite) that I want to put OSX on with Kalyway. I tried 10.5.2 but it stoped at the Darwin screen. Here are the specs: nVidia Geforce card with 128 Vram 512 Ram P4 Mobile Processor 1600X1200 res screen DVDRW+/- drive Although it is older, due OSXproject wiki I meet min specs any reason why it is going wrong? Could it be that 10.5.2 only supports SSE3 and not SSE2. I know it is not a bad burn because I am currently posting this from a kalyway install from the same disc. Would I be able to run OSX Tiger on it as a better bet. I just want to be able to have iLife and iWork and internet oh and just OSX running to shove in my friends faces! kytzu
If you have only sse2 then this could be a problem. Jas posted something about this problem and I think his last leo release should work on sse2 also, digg for his posts.
