cybertlc
So Time Machine has always worked perfectly. I updated my Kalyway 10.5.2 to 10.5.3, and Time Machine stopped working. It gives the following error: 6/11/08 10:45:51 PM /System/Library/CoreServices/backupd[625] Backup failed with error: 18 6/11/08 10:45:46 PM /System/Library/CoreServices/backupd[625] Volume at path /Volumes/Time Machine does not appear to be the correct backup volume for this computer. (Cookies do not match) 6/11/08 10:45:51 PM /System/Library/CoreServices/backupd[625] Backup failed with error: 18 I've tried reformatting the Time Machine drive (it's an external USB) and it STILL gives this error. vaporATX
People with real Macs are having all kinds of Time Machine issues after updating to 10.5.3. See the Apple support forums.
