tjfear Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 Everything has been going well for awhile without any problems until I've tried to unRAR a copy of FCS2. For some reason when it gets to around 1.3GB done the grey screen comes down and says I need to restart the computer - this happens everytime. Smaller .zip and .rar files work fine, it's only on large files. I've tried UnRarX, BetterZip, StuffIt... any suggestions to why this is happening? Thanks! Are you using FAT32 (there is a file size limit on that kind of file system). Espionage724 Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 FAT32 has an issue with extracting files over 2GB....well not issue, limitation actually. If your, however, extracting files from only your OS X partition then you have nothing to worry about with the 2GB limitation. I can't really think of the problem thats happening though...
