Sailfish
After a perfect 10.4.4 Maxxuss Installation, I am failing miserably with the 10.4.5 upgrade. Under -v it boots to the blue screen. Under a straight boot, it boots to the Mac screen with the scroll bar. But the load bar never scrolls. It just sits there... Forever. Any Ideas? vickzaz
Hello everyone, I have exactly the same problem as you both with the same laptop. I think the problem comes from the graphic card which is not exactly the same as the X1600 in the macbook pro. The error messages during the boot are : "match category ioframebuffer exists" and "family specific matching fails" If anyone has an idea what to do, it'd be welcome Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10996-1045-boot-problem/#findComment-78126 Share on other sites
dragonpool
I installed fawlessly but could not boot into the system. I found some messages saying the torrent file was broken. So maybe we all got a bad copy. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10996-1045-boot-problem/#findComment-78219 Share on other sites
2mass
i dont think that was my problem cause i d\led from newsgroups and it was verified by quickpar, sfv and the disccheck in osx before it installs. i guess its the graphics driver that doesnt work with my card...
