I am buying a HP tx2500z which was just released this morning. To replace my MBP which is dead from a... car accident :) (check my other posts)

 

Anyways, I am getting a HP tx2500z with 4gb ram, and every other hardware upgrade I can get. The total price is $1,638.00.

 

When I get it I need to have OSX on it, as I am a compositor and will need some mac only applications. I have OSx86 Kalyway 10.5.2 on my PC at home, and was wondering if this package will work on this laptop.

 

for reference, this laptop has the same chipset and same family of processor as the tx2000z. It has AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile Processor ZM-86 (2.4 GHz)

 

and the video card is ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

 

What do you guys think?

i just got it but dont know what to install...

boots from jas 10.4.8

but kinda gave up because

i erased the wrong partition

and had to go through all the expense of download a recovery tool iso

and had to semi-install another vista edition (ultimate) since it gave a 1002 error before... :)

and the used diskpart to make the hp_recovery active..

installed and here i am.... ;)

without osx86

it explains how someone installed tx2000z

has a different gfx chipset though

having a little trouble installing the components/devices if any one could give me a hand???

the touchscreen/digitizer partially works -_-

the sound does not work as with the wifi :(

I have a tx2510us and cannot get past the darwin loader screen at the beginning of the boot...it just freezes and the lights flash on the keyboard after it tried loading ACPI...i guess this is the power glitch i read about but how are you getting past this to get into the setup screens? thanks

did you have to downgrade your bios?

I have been trying several times with the double tap and sliding of the power slider but nothing works right now...any help would be greatly appreciated

How do you patch leo4all 4.1

 

I am unable to find F.06 Bios Firmware for TX2500z.

 

Can you assist me in patching Leo4all 4.1, I will post a screen later tonight about the error I am receiving.

or the F05

tried it with F06 and worked....

would donwgrade the bios to f05 and tried it there
