I tried searching for threads on this problem, but it's a difficult topic to put into search terms. My problem is that about half of the time when I boot into Leopard 10.5.2 (Kalyway install) both my mouse and keyboard don't work. If they don't work on any given start up, they work 100% when the computer is restarted. Neither of them are plugged into a USB port.

What's going on here? Any ideas?

Did you guys ever get a fix for this?

Agreed, putting this into search terms is hard, and what it brings up is a lot of people asking the same question without a solution reply!

Problem has been frustrating me for ages... PS2 and USB doing the same thing, keyboard only works 50% of the time.

Fixed my issue...

Have an MS keyboard and an MS wireless mouse, both USB.

I deleted the PS2 files in the kernel extensions directory... Assuming they are not a 'natural' part of a vanilla install and were put there by Kalyway to get PS2 working.

50 reboots later, not a single random keyboard not working boot. Suggest USB keyboard / mouse and deleting PS2 files to anyone still having this issue.
