(First post) I just bought a Gigabyte Ep35-Ds4 and cannot get any version of osx into the installer. I have tried kalway 10.5.1, 10.5.2 and iaktos 10.5.2. Basically I have been getting the waiting for root device error. I remidied that by typing rd=disk0 . Now iam getting a kernal panic of sorts (something with sata). Iam using a IDE dvd drive and that may be the problem. However without changing it how can i install osx? Is there a way to to it off an external drive? This really is driving me crazy.
