hi,

I am having difficulties installing osx86.

Firstoff, here are my specs:

Amd Sempron 2800+ (64bit)

1g ram

Ati 9800 XT

I got the osx86-fully-patched-sse2-rosetta-ati.iso.

I understand now that its better to get an unpatched version, and to patch it to your own needs...

But i allready have the patched version...

i got an extra empty interne Disk with 20gb space, on wich i would like to install osx.

XP is running on a seperate drive.

now..

when i boot the DVD i get this:

Error parsing plist fileloading Darwin/x86.

Error while starting the computer

Can anyone give me some advice on getting this to work?

Thanks!

UPDATE:

I rewrote the dvd with Nero instead of alcohol 120%, and now the install is working.

Now...

When i normally boot, i get into windows.

When i boot with the osxDVD, i hit F8 and type rd=disk0s2 (since my drive is slave on IDE0,

behind my disk with winXP).

When i boot, i get the mac loading screen, but it just keeps loading.

Then some kind of small stop sign comes on in the middle of the screen.

Then it just keeps loading forever.

Does anyone know what to do?

how can i load osx in safe mode?

thanks in advance
