Hi everybody

Here is the way to install Leopard 10.5.2 on your favorite laptop

LEO4ALLv3 works like a charm on my Old NC6000 Laptop

But this is not easy to do

Before into BIOS disable SpeedStep and Always fan Option on AC

1st)

Install LEO with only those things (the DVD make a long long time to boot ...count 45 min to boot on OSX install menu so be patient it seems froozen sometimes but don't care)

onto leopard install menu format your disk via disk utilities

FOR INSTALLATION,

Select only those things:

Your Language

The SS2 Sleep Kernel

No chip

No Network Drivers

No Graphic Card

No Sound Drivers

Delete Firewire Kext

choose Old ACPI

nothing more

2)

After the installation the boot into Leopard fails !!!

To fix that you need to change IOPCCARDFAMILY.KEXT and IOPCIFAMILY.KEXT from others from this thread

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=81036

3)

You need to remove AppleVIAATA and replace the leopard IOATAFAMILY.KEXTfrom this thread

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=88335

4)

You need to change the AppleBCM5701Ethernet drivers from IONetworkingfamily.kext with another one who is patched

from this threat

5)

Atheros Working great but you need to change de string pci168c,1c to pci168c,13 into info.plist (reboot)

6)

The sound works great, juste add AppleAC97Audio.kext

You need to boot everytime with kernel Flags -f

After all that you got a speedy fonctionnal LEOPARD but without Graphic Card QE & CI and without powermanagement

If you fix that think, please tell me

Hi there

I got it running too.

I use Kalyway 10.5.2

At first go to the BIOS and deactivate Speedstep!

then you can install from this DVD

during start the boot stops(after the bcm card driver) waiting time round about 10 minutes !!

On the Installer Section only select sleepkernel and SSE2_Jas1048_ACPI_APIC and the efi_mbr

thats all

On my System it boots first time really long time.Later faster

Sound works an i got the Welcome Video running fast

USB is not working

QE / CI one works other not will correct tomorrow when i´m at home

How we could get the Radeon 9600 mobility working on Leopard? IS THERE ANY DEVELOPER LIKE DIABOLIK?

Because without full QE/CI it is nothing

I'm using Dual Booting (Vista/OSX)

I simply use Vista (with MAc Drive 7 )to change files onto OSX Drive
