Kalaway 10.5.2 Install fails with ITUNES_ITUNESX error

Hello,

 

I get the following error and then it prompts me to restart:

 

INSTALL FAILED

Mac OS X could not be installed on your computer

 

The installer could not validate the contents of the 'iTunes_iTunesX" package. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

 

Click Restart to restart your computer and try installing again.

 

I've try doing the install with different DVD's and get the same error.

same problem here, with kalaway 10.5.2 has anyone found a solution to this yet? im installing on a hp dv6809wm laptop.

 

all other distributions that i've tried are not able even to get to this 'install' point.

 

any help would be much appreciated :-)

UPDATE: i was able to find the original itunes_itunesx package on the install disk, and copy that file and replace the one on my bootable usb stick that had been stalling the installation process. now i have snow leopard successfully installed :-)
