zoo
Hey, I've successfully installed Leopard on my Asus R1F tabletPC. Using Leo4All V3 (Kallyway install DVD crash at startup on this machine) Here what I used, following indications I've found on this forum. - Vanilla kernel 9.2.0 - Intel ICHx third party drivers - PowerManagement-Laptop - Remove FireWire (there's none on this laptop...) - intel gma950 drivers (I've installed both old and new... And looks like to works nicely without artifacts and I can change resolution) - AppleAzaliaAudio (works only out) Then I've added those drivers : - Wacom drivers : cons495-1_int.dmg (the stylus works out of box but need calibration) - Realtek RTL8xxx Driver Everything is fine, card reader works, bluetooth works and at first the battery time remaining was wrong, but after I've totally empty the batteries, and recharge it, looks like to be accurate (I've got the same amount of time I had in vista). Issues (any idea is welcome) : - No sound-in... can it be fixed ? - I need wifi... But there are no working pilots yet, I've tried the beta versions of the WiFi Intel3945, no success. I have to buy a wifi dongle I guess... - I was looking for screen rotation and found some freewares to do that, but looks like screen rotation is not suported with these drivers... Any idea ? can I force that by any way ? It is so usefull ! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/109109-new-asus-r1f-with-leopard/ Share on other sites
