Low performance with my HD (XBench=54)

I finished building my hacintosh with following hardware:

 

Asus P5B-E.

Core 2 Duo 6520 (2.1gz)

Maxtor HD 320 (cheap one) on SATA bus.

2 GB Ram.

10.5.2 Vanilla kernel.

 

This gives me an score of 137 points but HD test is just 54. I have seen peopple getting much much better scores (>100).

 

Do anybody know what's hapenning, are this score just right?.

that seems normal to me. HD score is always the lowest on all platforms.
