joevans Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 I'm getting a welcome loop that is looping from where it asks you to get information from another computer or to get it later. If this does not work you can setup up an account prior to loading into Leopard. Type -s at the Darwin boot prompt. /sbin/fsck -fy /sbin/mount -uw / /sbin/mount -uw / passwd root ##it will ask you to enter a new password touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone The default login user name when done will be root. - my friend had this issue on her computer, this solution fixed it for her Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
