fivepoint1 Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 Is it possible to install Ubuntu under Wubi, then uninstall that and put OSX on the virtual drive that Wubi created? That way it would be installed to a virtual drive but still could be booted normally. This won't work because there is special support compiled into the Linux kernel that allows it to use the virtual drive that Wubi creates. The OS X kernel does not have this support, and would not see the virtual drive at all.
