Aduumzor Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 alright so i installed a perfect version of kalyway 10.5.2 on my pc. My wifi and internet is working except my audio. So it looks like ill need a driver. My sound card is in my motherboad im pretty sure. On vista i installed the AC97 audio driver to get sound out of my system. So i have the main idea of installing a kext whichis basically putting it in the system/library/extensiona folder and setting its permissions and ive searched countless times on this forum but could not get sound out of my system. So i come to you guys for help. Whats the indepth and specific process of getting a driver/kext configured? Am i using the wrong driver?
