now2
Hi there, first the good news. Everything perfect on an Acer Travelmate 290 (have to add that to the Wiki). I installed 10.4.3 - OSX came up with 1024 x 768. My Acer can do 1400 x 1050, so I edited the config-file, did a reboot and everything is smooth. Exept: When I move some Windows around the Desktop (e.g. Safari) (sorry for my Microsoft Language), the content of that windows gets blurred. It looks like choppy background image. Same when i scroll down in a window. In 1024 x 768, everything works well. Any ideas on that one? mcmassia
now2, your card, which is also mine, can only get 1280x1024x32 resolution with the actual ATI kexts. So it's the only better you can do, cause Apple won't realese no support kext for these kind of cards.
