pressure Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 I bought a DG31pr barebone system with a q6600 chip inside.I bought a 8800 GTSbought a 500 GB SATA HDFor 1 week I was losing hair trying to install this video card on a GUID partion with kalyway 10.5.1 , everything failed. DVD didnt show up.Then I switched over to MBR, and BAM, everything works, DVD burner, video card now works....can anyone tell me WHY this is?wow, and VMware fusion now works now too!!!!!YAY!@*#( GUID !
