gmi109 Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 I recently installed 10.5.2 kalyway on an amd system. Specs are: AMD 5600+ X2 2.8ghz Biostar TF7025-M2 motherboard X1950 Video Card The problem is that whenever I plug any "PnP" usb storage device in, it recognizes it, but won't show up in the disk manager or in Finder. (eg, I can plug in a thumb drive, it shows up in system profiler, but not finder or disk utility) The same thing goes for my firewire camera. It shows up in System Profiler, but Final Cut claims there is no camera connected. However, if I have any of these devices plugged in when the computer boots they seem to work fine. Any ideas?
