TheNaraku Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 Ok so i installed IATKOS on my system the installer loads up perfectly and i partition the hard drive and install IATKOS i also install the driver for the Intel SATA after the install it will reboot and come up to the grey apple screen and spin for a few seconds and then i get a Circle with a line through it (a No Symbol) if i boot up with -v it will stop at still waiting on root device NOTE this is installed on a SATA drive on a Intel controller (ICH5) none of the other boot options make any diffrence -x -f -v nothing makes any diffrence is there any workarround for this SATA problem.. all the other hardware is supported and on a further note it boots into the install with no boot options (nativly) has anyone else had this problem with a SATA drive and if so were you able to get past it Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/108575-iatkos-installed-perfectly-fine-sata-still-waiting-on-root-device/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
