I'm running OSX on a ASrock mainboard whit a Core2Duo and 2 gig of ram. It was running on 10.4.8. Perfectly. But i was so stoooopid to upgrade my iPod's firmware when i was asked for it. So iTunes told me that the iPod is to new and i have to upgrade iTunes. ggggrrr ok done that. Now iTunes told me that it wont run on 10.4.8 i have to upgrade to 10.4.9.... WTF....

Ok than i thougt "when im upgrade i go to 10.5". Now i have 10.5.2 whit a lots of problems:

1. Audio wont work. ALC880 chip onboard, downloaded AZALIA and an ALC880 driver... won't work. So i disabled the audio and installed a SoundBlaster 128 PCI. This one works, but...

2. it's getting a buffer overflow or something after 5 to 20 minutes playing. Than the sound goes (don't know how to tell it) strange. Than i stop playing, wait 3 seconds and start again. Than it's normal again for the next 5 to 20 minutes.

3. My iPod is not recognized. So every time i want to connect the iPod for updating my music i have to install the iPod support software from the OSX CD.

Now what should i do? Downgrade to 10.5.1 or 10.4.11? Some other tricks?

I've read that 10.5.2 has some bug's (someone called 10.5.2 the Vista of Apple, zdnet was that i think)

/edit oh i have the Kalyway 10.5.2 dvd -_-
