penarol Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 Hi I try to reinstall my computer with kalyway and toh, when begin to install from dvd i receive a message: can´t find com.apple.boot.plist. I use this disc in the same dvd a lot of times but with my new Asus p5kc it´s imposible to install. Any suggestions? Gujal Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 Asus P5KC uses Jmicron controller to support IDE interface. If you use IDE DVD Drive it will not work. Gemenhy Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 Had the same problem (can´t find com.apple.boot.plist.). Use an external USB DVD player. Choose to boot from that device. Worked for me.
