DanB91
I have a real strange problem with my 8800. I recently formated my computer with kalyway 10.5.2. I actually formated it many times, using different drivers (NVinject and nvidia-EFI, I'm using nvidia-EFI now) on both 10.5.2 and 10.5.3 (I'm using 10.5.3 now). The problem is that for some reason, no matter the driver, when it boots up, my HDTV can't read the signal. So I have a back up CRT monitor and so I swap the monitors while my computer is on and it can't read the signal. So I reboot, and my CRT can actually read the signal! So I swap it with my HDTV and it reads the signal as well. But, when I reboot on my HDTV it cannot read the signal! In short, my computer somehow knows which monitor I am using and will not boot to a readable resolution when connected to my HDTV, but will boot fine on my CRT monitor. Does any one know how anyone can fix this problem? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/108259-monitor-problem-w-8800gt/ Share on other sites
worpx
You need to have the correct drivers with the right resolution set to match your HDTV; are you going DVI to CRT or VGA to something else?
