Metuas
I have PCWiz's 10.5.2 virtual machine. Apart from the common problems (it is slow, no internet) it works great. So, I figured I would try installing it onto an external hard drive of mine. I booted my fluxbuntu VM, with my leopard vmdk and physical disk connected, chowned and chmodded everything, and dded the leopard drive to my physical disk. I haven't flagged it as bootable yet since I'm not sure if I can do that with the disk inside an image (in essence, if I booted my Linux VM and fdisked it, would it also be bootable as a physical drive?), but I'm sure I can get a LiveCD and burn it if it is needed. So my question is, with this prepatched Intel/SSE3 image, can I boot and run Leopard successfully on: HP Media Center PC m7357v Windows XP Media Center Ed. 2.13 GHz Core 2 Duo Asus LITHIUM moboi945 chipset 2 GB 667MHz RAM nVidia GeForce 7300 (don't hold me to that number, I'm not at this computer now) ? Another family member also has the same PC, with the following differences: it has a single 2.8 GHz Pentium D, and only 1.5 GB RAM. If possible, I'd like to boot that one also. Has anyone tried cloning to a physical disk within VMware, and is it possible to do this? Thanks.
