Hi everyone!

Sorry, but I'm a noobie to all of this. If you could help me out here, it would be greatly appreciated!

Well first of all, I am installing Kalyway on my Gateway M275 Laptop. It is an Intel Processor (1.7GHz) and I have 512 MB of memory available.

I got through everything fine while loading the installation. Then when I got to the Installation Welcome screen, my mouse and keyboard didn't work. Come to find out, that I had to disable my Legacy USB Support to make them work. Now that's all good.

I've deleted Windows Vista off my system completely now. I have nothing on my disk except for myself attempting to get Leopard on my laptop.

I've tried to put Kalyway on one partition and made the option of booting MBR. Went ahead with installation, also choosing the Customize button for the extras. When I started to install, about one forth way done, my laptop shuts off. I know it's not a battery problem, because my laptop is on the charger during the installation process.

After this, I made the GUID option. Still, my laptop shut off one fourth of the way into installing Leopard.

Does anyone have any advice for me so I can go through installing Leopard on my laptop without shutting down in the middle of installation? Thank you!!!
