snowb1ind
I'm desperately trying to get MacOS 10.5.2 installing and working on Acer 5520g, which basically is a AMD Turion 64 TL58 (1.9 ГГц/ 1 Мб), 15.4" WXGA (1280x800) NVidia GeForce 8400M G 128 mb, 2048 (2x1024) Мб DDR II, 160 Гб SATA Hitachi (5400rpm), DVD RW Pioneer, 802.11b/g Atheros I tried to use all Kalyway 10.5.2, Leo4Allv3, Zephyroth 10.5.2 DVDs. I was usually getting "waiting for root device" stuff, but finally, i've managed to make it up to the installation screen, when i booted from Kalyway with "speedstepkernel -x" parameters. Then I had to use a Disk Utility, but it doesn't see any hard drive. It sees only my DVD-rom with installation disk in it. I thus believe that Kalyway installation took my dvd for a root device. The question is: how do i make it see my hard drive? (i heard something about sata controller drivers, but i can't figure out which one i'm using). P.S. I have ntfs primary partition with Vista, ntfs secondary, fat32 primary for MacOS and 15extra unpartitioned gb, if that stuff matters.
