Bl_nk
Long Story -- I had a working Leopard (Kalyway 10.5.2) which had the same problem, but it told me to manually select a keyboard layout after the identification failed and I assumed it tries to identify the keyboard for a particular period of time before giving the user the option to choose manually. I had to repartion the hard disk and installed Leopard again, this time the loop seems to be reaching out to infinity like their welcome video. I have a PS/2 (connected to USB via adapter) Keyboard. Windows sometimes does not recognise the keyboard after restarting from Mac and vice versa. Short Story -- 1.Workaround for the keyboard identification loop. 2.Workaround for random recognition problem. The mouse works just great everywhere. The_Nightshift
I also have the infinite loop problem, using kalyway and two logitech keyboards (one G15 and one elite, which has mac key labeling, which made me assume it should work). Any suggestions? EDIT Was able to bypass by hitting the spacebar Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/107891-keyboard-identification-loop/#findComment-824668 Share on other sites
