Thanks again thinkbrown. I thought you might have done so. Although I've probably missed details of the early posts on this whole business of getting Leopard running on a PC, I don't think I've actually seen it said that one of the things you need in addition to all the software, patches etc is an Intel Mac. I guess if you can download a copy of a patched DVD you don't need a Mac, but somehow that also seems to miss the point. BTW I bought a retail version of Leopard 10.5 as my starting point, so I'll have to find someone prepared to let me use their machine to do the patching. I hope you work out how to proceed with getting OSX on to your Presario F700. I've just bought a Presario C700 laptop also with Vista, and I'm delighted with it.

All the best

Rob

Ok, so its been a while, and i've kept working on this, but, no luck

Does anyone have a method of installation, that does not require me to use a torrent (ftp, http, Mediafire, fine)?

I have an image of an original leopard 10.5 install disc, and i prefer to patch that than to download.

Thank You,

TB
