olvko
Hi, I have updated to 10.5.3 from 10.5.2 yesterday, unfortunately I had installed previously some kind of hack to get translucent menus. Because of that I wasn't able to run 10.5.3 in graphic mode - 10.5.3 update change /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework but retained System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreUI.framework unchanged (but this one have been changed by this menu hack). I finally managed to run my Leopard 10.5.3 and I think all I needed to do was to restore correct CoreUI.framework (from original 10.5.2, as 10.5.3 didn't change it). So here are the necessary files: http://rapidshare.com/files/118801246/Core...mework.zip.html All You need to do to repair Your Leo installation: 1. Download file and unzip 2. Boot in safe mode ( -s ) 3. Mount your root disk ( mount -uw /) 4. Overwrite broken CoreUI.framework ( cp -R CoreUI.framework /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreUI.framework ). 5. reboot or just leave safe mode (reboot / exit). Did it work to You or should I send also correct Carbon.framework??
