ffosilva
Hello! Yesterday I bought a new processor Q9300 to replace my old and good E6400. It detected my processor correctly (all specs, but on about this mac it show Unknown Processor). All going normal, but with one problem: my audio is now popping and cracking. I tried everything, and discovered the problem too! I replaced my kernel to a modified version with speedstep and without speedstep too, and for my surprise, both solved my audio problem. Anyone knows why vanilla kernel makes my system audio bad? PS: using modified 9.3.0 kernel, it only detects 3mb of cache instead 6mb, but modified version of 9.2.0 works perfectly. I thinks it´s early to 9.3.0 good version.
