CelticPirate
I hope I did not overlook my solution in the forum search but I am having an interesting dual-boot problem, Ill give you a history of what I have done so far first: I installed Windows XP on one of my 2 Sata drives (disk1 below) then I installed Kalyway on disk 0. I could not get windows to alow me into OSX after a few attempts but finally it switched over to booting OSX after a reinstall os OSX. I was satisfied and decided that I would now install Ubuntu on another partiton of disk 0 thinking I would just set up grub to handle my triple booting. Odly, after installing, it booted me into Windows skiping grub alltogther. So I changed my boot disk with Partition Magic's boot selector to the OSX partition and OSX came up nicely, still no grub (Windows and OSX were my only choices). Now I tired to change what to boot from by pressing F8 at boot time and was given 2 choices only; OSX and unidentified, I select unidentified and it gave some error about NTLDR not being found...It appears I am stuck with just OSX right now and I am not having much luck searching for a way to get things strait. Thank you in advance for any help that you might be able to provide, Jason Here is the info from disk utility on the two disks in question: Name : WDC WD5000AACS-00ZUB0 Type : Disk Partition Map Scheme : Master Boot Record Disk Identifier : disk0 Media Name : WDC WD5000AACS-00ZUB0 WDC WD5000AACS-00ZUB0 Media Type : Generic Connection Bus : Serial ATA Connection ID : Device 0 Device Tree : /PCI0@0/IDE1@1F,2/SECD@1/@0:0 Writable : Yes Ejectable : No Mac OS 9 Drivers Installed : No Location : Internal Total Capacity : 465.8 GB (500,106,780,160 Bytes) S.M.A.R.T.
