Until very recently it has been performing phenomenally, all my hardware works absolutely no problems. Now last week or so I noticed considerable system slowdown. It takes much longer to open programs switch windows etc. When I press spotlite shortcut it takes about 15 seconds before I can type search in, and takes another 15 sec or so before first results begin to appear. This seems to be related to hard drive. My system hard drive seems to trashing constantly reading and writing non stop, even when only few programs are running. Only thing I done so far is to repair permissions and check for errors with Disk Utility. Any other suggestions what can I try to get system back to normal?
