I tried nearly all available kernels (currently running: ToH 9.2.2-sleep) HW is: GA-P35-DS3L / Penryn C2D / 9800GTX If I try to sleep, the screen goes blanc and the hardware powers down, but the power-LED is not flashing (it is off). If I power-up the system it just boots. If I "pmset" osx to just hibernate-to-disc, I see a gray screen before it powers down. But again on power-up it boots normally. So my question is: What could cause this? What differend kexts I should try? Can the 9800GTX be the cause of the problem. It seems that some people can sleep with this Board. knewsom Posted May 29, 2008 Share Posted May 29, 2008 I'm in the same situation if I use S3 sleep. S1 works fine, but it'd be nice to have a "true" sleep mode working.
