QX6700 overclock to 3.51G

nForce 680i SLI Striker Ex

2G ram

HD SATA WD*2

Lacie mini 500G USB

Onboard Sound

 

Now, I using the Kalyway 10.5.2 with no problem about kernel panic (4 Cores Supported)

 

Another Atkos & Leo4all versions that doesn't support for Quad-cores But before you install them please use "-x -v cpus=1" (don't ask how to do please read another topics...) this can be resolve the kernel panic due to support just only 1 core ...

my advice forget about iatkos 2.0...

 

use either kalyway 10.5.2 or iatkos r3

 

the guide is not for r2! it is for r3 = nforce edition and manual update to 10.5.2 or clean kalyway 10.5.2

 

everything you need is there (including files), just learn to read and play trumpet correctly...

 

my personal choice is kalyway 10.5.2

I am wondering whats the best way to install leopard on a p5n-e sli mobo. I tried kalyway and iatkos, but failed kinda miserably. Anyone got any suggestions on which release to try for an easy and smooth installation? i got iatkos 2 but havent tried it as yet, should i use that?

you wanna use kalyway 10.5.2 i have successfully done it when i have failed with iatkos and kalyway 10.5.1
