I wanted to *ghost* the leopard before I play the gfx-efi thing. Some guy told me to use the disk utility. I made a dmg image for my leopard installation. Unfortunately, I did not succeed with the gfx-efi thing.

After I restored the image with disk utility, I found a completely non-bootable system.I googled with another machine, and I found many people had this problem. There were many solutions, fdisk -e, fdisk -u, etc. but none of them worked for me. I think the best bet is to install it again.

I booted with iatkos v2.0i dvd, and read the "agree or disagree" part very carefully. I found there was an easy way to make it bootable again -- rebuild the darwin bootloader. Here it is:

1. boot your PC with iatkos v2.0i dvd

2. press F8, type -s, hit enter

3. wait until you see the prompt

4. type darwin, hit enter

5. follow the on-screen instruction to build the darwin bootloader

6. type reboot, hit enter

7. now you should have a bootable machine
