bandit614
I installed perfectly, with my only issues being a Graphics Driver (used the NVInstaller package which worked perfectly), a sound driver (for the DS3L motherboard, which worked perfectly), and fixing my LAN Card so it would work (I edited a setting in Windows that was like "Wake on LAN" or something). I currently am not having any problems with restarting, shutting down, or anything else I've read about. My current system is Gigabyte DS3L motherboard E6750 c2d 2 gigs DD2 ram 8600gt 320gb SATA hard drive, partitioned into two equal chunks, one for Windows, one for OSX I'm just wondering if I should update to 10.5.2 with the Kalyway combo fix.. like if it would mess up the stuff I already fixed or cause any new problems. wahwahman89
My DS3R will not work reboot but it will shutdown and sleep so you may be risking that. Apart from that, graphics performance is better under .2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/107151-is-there-any-reason-not-to-use-the-1052-combo-update/#findComment-760482 Share on other sites
