freetemplatesforall Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 after i finished the installed, right before it went to the desktop it went through a network configuration and it detected my wireless network and connected super easy. i could browse and didnt have any problems once at the desktop. for some, after i reboot i cant connect to to anything period. it does not auto detect anything and cant search for anything. + im a noob at mac. i did the 10.4.8-10.4.9 update and rebooted and then tried using the brcm scripts but it still didnt work. i have a Laptop Hp DV6226US. if anyone knows how i can turn on my wireless card or change a setting or something at all please let me know. -thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/107093-wifi-works-directly-after-install-but-not-after-a-reboot/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
westwaerts Posted May 28, 2008 Share Posted May 28, 2008 did you try to assign a fixed IP-adress ? auto-assigned IP´s cause troubles. read the console system log for some explanation.
