BurningSky
Hi, I installed leopard yesterday following this guide: http://maconpc.distinctlyjordan.com/2008/03/20/how-todual-boot-xp-and-leopard/ The installer ran fine with no issues but when i go to boot the Mac OS it just hangs on the grey screen with the apple logo. I did -v and it seems that these two lines are stopping it load any further: localhost kextd[10]: IOKitWaitQuiet() timed out waiting to write kernel symbols and localhost configd[33]: InterfaceNamer: timed out waiting for IOKit to quiesce The only other instance i can find on the internet is in Portuguese so im not too hopeful of a reply from them. I have a Maxdata Pro8100IW Notebook with a Intel T7200 2.0ghz processor and 2gig ram. I used CPU Z on my laptop in Windows and im sure the processor is both SSE2 and SSE3. Does anyone have any ideas?
