wahwahman89
In theory man, yes you can, but its not easy. What you need to do is get yourself a couple of these off of eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-3D-Sound-Card-5-...1QQcmdZViewItem By the way, its bull that they're surround sound. I take it you have onboard sound so basically what you have to do is allocate two speakers to your built-in sound card, and then in Audio/MIDI setup in Apps/Utils get two aggregate devices (i.e. those) set up to sent your side and rear channels over. You can then have aggregate and slightly artificial surround sound which works. Unless you go for an M-Audio sound card which will cost a bit of cash. Later man Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/106973-itunes-and-surround/#findComment-760134 Share on other sites
LawlessPPC
already using aggregate for six channels but i tunes only seems to use 2 of them only way round i have found is to use a utility called jack which is an audio server and basically I tell it to send the left and right to both front and back it works and works well only 0.5 cpu usage. Just not ideal. By the way thanx for the responce Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/106973-itunes-and-surround/#findComment-760527 Share on other sites
