[SOLVED] Dell D620 Sleep Mode

Hi

 

I am new to this whole hackintosh thing.

 

I have got my Dell D620 Up and running, howerver it will not wake from sleep.

 

It looks like the neon lights come on but nothing ever happens or comes back. Need to do a hard reset to get it back.

 

I am using the leo4all V3 release with default settings (not sure what kernel it uses by default)

 

Does sleep even work on Dells in 10.5.2?

 

Where should i start to look to fix this?

Kalyway 10.5.2 with kernel_9.2_sleep allows me to sleep and resume without an issue

Here are my notes. for getting my laptop working

 

Laptop Details

CPU = Intel Core Duo 1.66GHz (Using Single Core)

RAM = 2GB

Video = Intel 945GM (Working, Some Artifacts)

Sound = Sigmatel 9200 (working but no mute or headphone mute, or headphone sound) Also getting Kernel Panic on Shutdown

Internal Network Card = BCM5752 Vendor ID: 14E4 (Broadcom) Device ID: 1600 (BCM5752) (NOT WORKING)

Internal WIFI Card = Replaced with Dell DW1470 (Native support)

External Network Card = EZSMC USB Adapter

 

 

Bios Settings

Bios Ver = A10

Fast Ir = Off

Intergrated NIC = Enabled (Currently does not work)

Internal Modem = Off

External USB Ports = Enabled

Intergrated USB Hub = Compatible

Parallel Port = ECP

Serial Port = COM1

PC Card = Off

Multi Core Support = Off

SpeedStep = Enabled

Serial ATA DIPM = Off

Internal Bluetooth = Enabled (Does not show in Mac)

Internal WI-FI = Enabled

Internal Cellular = Enabled (But dont have the MPCI Card anyway)

 

Video (Dual Screen Working With Doc) Video on Laptop and 21" Dell Monitor Attached to VGA Port of Doc With (Still get artifacts)

Install XP Partition 1

 

Install Leopard Partition 2 formated Journaland using Kalyway

 

Customize

 

Uncheck Language Translation

9.2 Sleep Kernel

 

Graphics / Intel GMA / GMA950

 

Patches / Boot with cpsus=1

/ Time machine fix

/ Power Management

 

Wait for Install

 

Then install Drivers and Fixes

- AppleHDAPatcher v1.12.app with sigmatel9221 (Drop sigmatel9221 onto app)

- usb_fix_1.3.mpkg

- USBPegasusEthernet_108.dmg (for EZ SMC Usb Adapter)
