Opes
Hello, I was trying to fix my bluetooth mouse problem, because after the Airport & Time Machine update I cant get it to connect to my Mighty Mouse. I downloaded Mac Os X 10.5.2 combo update and used Pacifist to get the System.kext from the update. I replaced my System.kext with that one, Repaired Permission and restarted. Then i got kernel panic on startup. I went into Windows and replaced my backup System.kext over the other new one. Booted Kalyway and repaired permissions. Restarted and i just got the apple logo and the spinning ring repeating over and over. Restarted and booted the HD with "-v -legacy" and this is what I got: npchas=4095 hi mem tramps at 0xffe00000 PAE enabled non-INTEL boot process Darwin Kernel Version 9.2.0: Sun Mar 2 00:11:08 SCT 2008; made by ToH:xnu-1228/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 standard timeslicing quantum is 10000 us vm_pagebootstrap: 384442 free pages and 8774 wired pages mig_table_max_displ = 79 Local APIC version not 0x14 as expected extension "com.apple.kernel.iokit" cannot be found can't determine immediate dependencies for extension com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform Can't determine dependencies for cam.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform. derekreid
I have the same problem, but I was running Tiger (hardware won't do Leopard). I messed around with some kexts, and tried to replace them via Windows but now I get the same error. I'd like to avoid reinstalling but unless anyone has an idea it looks like I might have to.
