Jeff Moulton
Dell Inspiron 6000 Notebook in a standard config - Pentium M at 1.6ghz. Kalyway 10.5.1 DVD. I am just getting started on the install, and the process is delayed at the "choose language" screen. It has been there with a spinning beach ball for about 7-8 minutes now. I did this earlier and it did this (I don't know how long, I went to take a shower) and finally made it to the next screen. Then it paused after I made my choice again. I waited about 10 minutes, and then gave up and did a hard reboot. Any thoughts? Please don't tell me that I got a bad download on the DVD - I don't have the patience to do that again! Jeff Moulton
NM - for some odd reason, the fourth time I tried, it flew right on through the process. Running OSX right now. Quite a few bugs (did I read somewhere that there is an unsaid fourth step to everything called "fiddling"?) but working through them.
