Hey,

I got iATKOS working almost fully just no WiFi. And I got a Network card slot in my laptop as well as built in Intel Pro networking. I tried a driver to get my WiFi Intel to work but has not worked yet. If I bought: http://www.amazon.com/Apple-Airport-Card-N...r/dp/B00005RD8T and put it into my Laptop networking card slot, would AirPort WiFi work?

Wow, that card is like the biggest rip-off ever. I got this http://www.oxfordtec.com/us/APPLE-OSX-Wire...oduct_info.html since my Intel Wireless one doesn't have any drivers. It's wireless N too, so if you got the board for it then hurrah, if not, then it can still be used a B/G card.

Oh yeah, it was picked up as Airport Extreme, didn't have to get any additional drivers or anything. Worked out of the box.

Awesome, so you suggest it? But would the AirPort card work?

Well, if you have no problem opening your computer and popping in the antennas, which isn't hard at all, then yeah, if you got that card it would work without any extra work needed. Unless you deleted the airport kexts from the initial install. The suggested card would replace your Intel one.

And the card in your first post doesn't actually go all the way inside of your computer, like the one I suggested so if OSX can detect that slot (I assume it's the one on the right or left of your computer that you can just pop anything that fits into it.) then I guess it could work.

Well I think i'll give it a go anyway. Its cheap to buy stuff from the USA when you live in england. As £1 = $2. I got a laptop and yeah its the one on the left of the laptop.
