problems passing first white screen

hello all please could anyone with better knowlage of darwin or mac os x86

i followed instructions in guide done all i think then restart computer

with second hard drive as primary master apple screen appears white screen grey apple circle timer below goes for around two mins then a small white square appears with no entry sign grey then computer hangs nothing else exept timer still apears to run tried in safe mode -x

tried -f tried all when i tried -v verbose appears to install ..ie run black screen white wrighting then stops says :waiting for root device ::unable to get device memory extension com.apple.iokit ious mass storage class has no kernel dependancy ... any of you great people out their know if you can help ps also when i plug windows harddrive in restart poor old windows computer does not reconise hard drive i installed x86 on can this disk be formated and how ...... ???? i know this is a lot to ask thanks for your time ..would be gratefull for any help before i kill another hard drive ....thanks
