I got a Dell Inspiron but the dvd driver its very buggy so i need to install OSX from something else.

I don't need dual boot.

I got a ipod and a 500 gb external harddrive (data on ipod can be deleted. Data on external can't be deleted).

All OSX86 Leopard packs are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

BUMP! :P

Buy a USB adapter, (mine is J-Micron *shudder*), has a mini-IDE laptop connector (+full IDE/SATA), and USB on the other.

Take out the IDE drive from your laptop.

Boot off another PC, select the USB drive as the installation volume, then install via USB onto the drive.

Put drive back in.

Or - you could just install onto another drive on another computer and like... use an imaging program to copy the image? It's not rocket science.
