I have been searching the forums and the wikis (that I could find) but haven't really found an answer to my question.

The system:

Stock Dell Optiplex GX620

CPU: Pentium 4 3.0 ghz w/ hyperthreading

graphics: Intel i945 Integrated

sound: Integrated ac '97 (Intel I believe)

Network: Integrated Broadcom 5751

chipset: ich9 (using GMA950 on Kalyway)

Firstly thanks to the people behind Kalyway 10.5.2 and Leo4allv3. Both installations work great on my system from which I am writing this post. Unfortunately each leave me an annoying problem and in my head I have a solution but don't know how to implement it.

When I install Leo4allv3 everything works except the integrated Network and sound.

When I install Kalyway 10.5.2 everything works except the integrated Network and Graphics (I am stuck at 1024x768). In Leo4Allv3 I am able to choose the proper resolution for the computer.

Is there anyway to pull the graphics driver out of Leo4allv3 and use it with my Kalyway installation? Or pull the audio out of Kalyway and use it in a Leo4allv3 installation?

I'm fairly competent with Linux, and Linux drivers but pretty lost in Darwin/OSX.

Finally could someone give me the proper syntax for the setting a the MAC address of a network card in Darwin. I have been using:

sudo ifconfig en0 hw ether XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX

Any and all thoughts are greatly appreciated. Until I figure it out I'm listening to music on a 1024x768 screen.

Daniel

Ok, so I'm not sure what happened but after a fresh installation of Kalyway both video and audio work. I think that during my original installation of Kalyway didn't I didn't include the GMA950 driver. So I have my nice resolution with Artifacts but at least it's working.

I found another thread yesterday trying to get a Leopard GMA950 and X3100 working so I'll finish that tonight and see how it works.
