afos Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 I have a intel 945GNT with Sigmatel 9221 A1 In my windows is detected as Sigmatel 9220 0x83847680 In Linux is detected as HDA INTEL (ALSA MIXER) Sigmatel 9221 A1 - 0x83847680 I also installed the file sigmatel9220.pkg as listed here but no sound is enabled In my Mac I´ve tried a lot of kext files, codec dump texts with AppleHDA Patcher 1.20 and no sound. I used my linux codec#2 that was in 2 folders: /proc/asound/card0/ /proc/asound/intel/ with AppleHDA Patcher 1.20 and this time shows Built-in Headphone but there is no sound... Please help me... xajat007 Posted July 16, 2008 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Me too having the same config and the same problem ...I tried many other options that were posted but still no result....when I tried with my linux (Ubuntu) dump then I am getting Internal Spekers and Headphones but sound is not coming from any of option I select....Mic shows it is having unknown but that to is not giving me anything Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
